Everton to hold talks with Manchester United over Anthony Elanga

Everton are determined to sign Anthony Elanga from Premier League rivals Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has that Everton will now hold direct talks with United and will aim to convince the Red Devils to sell him.

Elanga has come through the United academy system. The Sweden international has been on the books of the Red Devils since 2014. The 21-year-old winger has made 39 appearances in the Premier League for United so far in his career. The winger has scored three goals and given three assists in those games.

United will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in the top four of the Premier League table last campaign. It will be interesting to see if Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag is open to letting Elanga leave this summer.
